除了标准英语，角色还可以使用多种不同的语言与方言。

如果你的角色的角色属性是以其它语言写成的，角色便会以该种语言开启对话。

如果你想让自己的角色能用多种语言进行回应，你也可以往角色的属性或定义中加入这些语言。

无论你如何定义自己的角色，在多数情况中，一旦用户开始用另一种语言进行对话，或是要求角色改变对话所用语言，角色就会尝试用用户的语言继续对话。。

在角色“Maria” 的角色定义中，角色的回应既有英语，也有西班牙语，其中甚至有两种语言夹杂出现的回应。

你也可以在角色的定义中令“翻译”成为角色的一项职能。例如，在角色“译员（Translator）”的角色定义中，角色同一个假想的第三方对话，该第三方正在和用户进行短信交流。在这种情况下，你可能需要直接在定义栏中写出第一段对话，而不是用插入对话功能等着系统给你一段足够理想的回应。

receptionist: Here's someone that needs help
